Since 1987, Bath Iron Works has provided design and technical assistance for design upgrades and major changes to the two shipyards currently building DDG 51-class destroyers.“This contract enables our efforts to complete a Flight III design upgrade in support of the U.S. Navy’s strategy for acquiring ships with additional capability in FY’18 and FY ’21,” said Dirk Lesko, president of Bath Iron Works.Bath Iron Works currently has under construction Arleigh Burke-class destroyers Thomas Hudner (DDG 116), Daniel Inouye (DDG 118), Carl M. Levin (DDG 120), John Basilone (DDG 122) and Harvey C. Barnum Jr. (DDG 124) as well as Lyndon B. Johnson (DDG 1002), the third in the Zumwalt class of destroyers.

In order to be able to develop a tourist year, our destinations must be alive.Record tourist eleven months in Dubrovnik In eleven months of 2018, Duborvnik achieved record tourist results. According to the E-visitor tourist check-in and check-out system, excluding nautical data, from 1 January to 30 November 2018, 1 tourists stayed in Dubrovnik, 250% more than in the same period in 614. and 8 overnight stays were realized, 2017% more than the year before. Most guests were from: the United Kingdom, the USA, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, Croatia, Italy, Finland and Canada.In eleven months, there were 670 tourists in hotel accommodation, or 589% more than in 7, while 2017 overnight stays were realized, which is 2% more than last year. There were 162 guests staying in private accommodation, 309% more than in 4, and the number of overnight stays in private accommodation was 433% more than last year. Although air traffic was limited in November due to works at Dubrovnik Airport, excellent results were achieved in tourist traffic. From 1 to 30 November, 34 tourists stayed in Dubrovnik, which is 507% more than in November 28 and 2017 overnight stays, 75% more than last year. The most numerous tourists in November were from the following countries: Croatia, Germany, USA, BiH, other Asian countries, the Republic of Korea, Albania, Japan, the United Kingdom and China.

Meanwhile, Lampard, who is 36 in June, appeared on the Premier League’s list of released players alongside striker Samuel Eto’o and left-back Ashley Cole as their contracts expire on June 30. Chelsea defender David Luiz was on Friday night on the verge of a £50million move to Paris St-Germain as uncertainty continued to surround the future of record goalscorer Frank Lampard. Lampard’s appearance on the list does not mean his departure is inevitable, although Chelsea are still to clarify if the midfielder, who moved to Stamford Bridge in June 2001, will stay or move on. Cole has suggested he is likely to leave Chelsea, while Eto’o is poised to move on at the end of his one-season deal. Lampard has scored a club record 209 Chelsea goals in 646 appearances since his switch from West Ham, including the two goals at Bolton which secured the 2004/2005 Premier League title. That was Chelsea’s first championship for 50 years and began the most successful period in the club’s history. Eto’o netted 12 times in 35 appearances last term following his move from Anzhi Makhachkala. Cole has hinted his future lies away from Stamford Bridge after eight years after falling down the pecking order this term. The former Arsenal left-back, who retired from England duty after winning 107 caps but being overlooked for the World Cup squad, has been linked with moves abroad and to Manchester United and Liverpool. Goalkeepers Mark Schwarzer and Henrique Hilario also appear on the list – a Premier League requirement – alongside youngsters Sam Hutchinson and Milan Lalkovic. Luiz’s departure after three-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge is close, with PSG in advanced negotiations after appearing to beat Barcelona and Bayern Munich to his signature. The 27-year-old joined Chelsea from Benfica in January 2011 and has two years remaining on his five-and-a-half-year deal. Luiz has made 143 appearances, 34 of them last season, scoring 12 goals. He was primarily used in defensive midfield by Jose Mourinho after being unable to break up the central defensive partnership of John Terry and Gary Cahill. Luiz, who played against PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals for Chelsea, has two years remaining on the deal signed when he moved to Stamford Bridge and his likely sale represents a healthy profit. The funds would be used to reinvest in the squad, with Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa reportedly the number one target.
